Philip Priestley Non Executive Director

Mr. Priestley is a British citizen and retired senior British diplomat with more than 35 years experience in the foreign office. Mr. Priestley served from 2001 to 2004 as British High Commissioner to Belize. Prior to this, Mr. Priestley served as Head of the North America Department in the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office (1996-2000); as British Consul-General in Geneva (1992-1995), and as British Ambassador to Gabon (1990-1991). Mr. Priestley was a Fellow at Harvard University's Weatherhead Centre for International Affairs from 1991 to 1992. Mr. Priestley has also been a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce since 1998 and was awarded a CBE in 1996 for services to Anglo-Swiss Relations.
